Dear Khun xxxx,

First of all, let me introduce myself.

My name is xxxxx. I work as manager of xxxxx in Chiangmai. For your information, xxxx functions as orphanage as well as nursery and kindergarten for both our children and for children of nearby community. For children of nearby community our service is free of charge so that parents can work to earn their living and be together.

Today I’ve heard from one of my staffs, xxxx, our social worker that you would be available to know about the situation of my ‘daughter’ Tengmoo.

Herewith let me explain briefly about Tengmoo's personal history and about how I got involved with her.

In March, 2548(2004) at 'N' Hospital’s Pediatric ward where I was working as volunteer, I saw a baby girl of 3 months who was suffering from hydrocephaly (water head). At that time she was in fact released from ICU where she stayed for 3 months since her birth. Nurses of the ward told me that she was born premature. Her mother disappeared.

Later the hospital authority located her aunt and told her to take her back. Her aunt, her father’s elder sister, was quite surprised about the existence of Tengmoo because she was told by Tengmoo’s natal mother that this baby was born dead.

Tengmoo’s aunt took her while her natal parents disappeared. I talked with aunt and told her that I will help aunt by any means so that Tengmoo could stay in a family environment.

Up until 18 months old Tengmoo went through about 20 operations due that her tube was infected every time after her operation. However for the last one year she hasn’t gone through any operation thanks to the last doctor to date at the Suandok Hospital.

Tengmoo’s aunt is married. She has two sons of her own. Her husband earns living by making furniture and her aunt do side-job at home making boxes and/or items made out of ‘Saa’ paper.

The family’s living condition is not at all good. They are always straggling for survival but I have been so impressed that this family still keeps Tengmoo for love.

I have been always trying to find some sources to support Tengmoo and especially her aunt.

I, as Japanese, who works at a NGO regarding child issue have been testimony of selfish parents/guardian. But in Tengmoo’s case, I’m very much impressed with this family’s genuine love for this heavily handicapped child and would like to seek any means of helping them so that Tengmoo and her loving ‘family’ can be together as long as Tengmoo wants to live..

Herewith I would like to ask your kind understanding to this issue and looking forward to hearing good news for this family.

Thank you very much in advance for your favorable reply.

Yours faithfully,
[PR]

それ以外のトピックその;
